As the first agency of its kind in the Yanchep-Two Rocks region, we understand the needs of small businesses in a fast-developing and evolving area.
Our History
Cobalt and Co began as a copywriting agency founded in 2015 by established copywriter Shannon Lancaster, (B.Arts, Marketing and Professional Writing). In serving clients spanning from the Pilbara to Esperance, we recognised the need for an integrated approach to branding and marketing with a strong foundation in copywriting.
About Shannon Lancaster, Founder of Cobalt and Co
Captivated by storytelling, Shannon immersed herself in the creative arts from an early age. When Shannon wasn’t reading a book or writing a story, she was dancing. In the studio Shannon realised classical ballet provides an essential foundation for all other expressions of dance.
After graduating university, Shannon spent time working abroad across a range of industries before moving back to Western Australia to pursue a career in marketing. It was here Shannon realised the lessons she’d learned at the ballet barre were applicable to business:
A strong technical foundation in communication – particularly writing – provides an essential foundation for all expressions of brand and marketing.
Shannon has lived in the Goldfields-Esperance, Southwest and Pilbara regions as well as in Perth metro. After an early career working in-house across the professional services and not-for-profit sectors Shannon launched Cobalt and Co – a brand and marketing agency with purpose-driven communication at its core.

Where We Operate
Based out of the Y.hub in Yanchep, Western Australia, we help small to medium businesses across Western Australia. While most of the businesses we serve are based in Yanchep and Two Rocks and the northern coastal corridor, we have clients all over Perth Metro and Regional Western Australia, (including, currently, Esperance, Bunbury and Newman).
